What if students didn’t just learn about marketing—but actually did it?

U2L Campaign Studio is a hands-on, studio-style experience where high school students (grades 9–12) step into the role of real marketing professionals. Over four dynamic sessions, participants collaborate to design, create, and launch a fully developed digital marketing campaign for a real local business.

This is not a lecture-based class. This is not a “watch and learn” experience. This is where students build something real—start to finish.

What Makes This Different

Students aren’t completing hypothetical assignments. They are working with an actual client, solving real problems, and making creative decisions that have real impact.

From the first session, students engage in market research and brand discovery, direct communication with a business client, strategic planning and role-based collaboration, on-site content creation and filming, campaign development and messaging, and a final presentation of their work.

Every step mirrors the real-world process used by marketers, content creators, and creative teams.

The Studio Experience

Participants are guided through a structured, high-energy process that moves them through the full creative cycle: Create → Pitch → Launch.

They take on defined roles within a creative team, work together to plan and produce a cohesive campaign, visit a local business to capture authentic content and behind-the-scenes footage, and learn how to create compelling short-form video with purpose and intention.

Students also explore the difference between chasing views and delivering meaningful, effective messaging. They refine their work and present their campaign to both the client and a live audience.

Throughout the experience, students gain insight into not just how content is made—but why it works.

By the end of the course, students walk away with a completed digital marketing campaign, original video content they helped produce, and a deeper understanding of branding, storytelling, and audience engagement.
